Osimhen thanked the organizers, voters, fans, teammates, and his family at Galatasaray for their unwavering support. “This recognition means so much to me and I am truly grateful,” he wrote.
He emphasized that the award would not have been possible without the collective love and constant backing from those around him, adding that he shares the achievement with everyone who has stood by him.
The 26-year-old also extended special appreciation to Turkish goalkeeper Uğurcan Çakır, who accepted the award on his behalf. Osimhen described Çakır as “one of the best goalkeepers in the world” and praised his brotherly gesture. He concluded by reaffirming his commitment to hard work and faith, stating “God is the Greatest” while sending prayers and love to all supporters.
