Feyenoord defeated Club Brugge 3-1 in a pre-season Club Friendly on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at De Kuip stadium in Rotterdam.

The Dutch Eredivisie champions hosted the Belgian title holders as both teams prepare for their respective domestic seasons and European competitions, providing valuable match practice in early July.

Christos Tzolis, the Greek winger, scored for Club Brugge in the 52nd minute with a right-footed shot from the left side of the box, assisted by Andre Garcia. Shaqueel van Persie, the Dutch forward, equalized for Feyenoord in the 64th minute with a header assisted by Sem Steijn. Dutch defender Neraysho Kasanwirjo added the second in the 78th minute, also assisted by Steijn. Feyenoord showed dominance after halftime following a goalless first period, securing a comeback victory.

Feyenoord, the reigning Dutch champions, continue their pre-season preparations with strong form, having recently beaten lower-division sides convincingly. Club Brugge, Belgian Pro League winners last season, used the fixture to rotate their squad heavily.

Feyenoord’s next match is against Charleroi on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Sportcomplex Varkenoord. Club Brugge faces KV Kortrijk in the Belgian Pro League on August 7.
