Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is set to join Galatasaray’s preseason preparations in Istanbul within the next three days, according to Turkish football reporter Ferhat Kızıltas.
The update was shared by Galatasaray fan account Peşindeyiz Galatasaray on X, stating that Osimhen will link up with the squad as they begin training for the 2026/27 campaign. The post included a photo of Osimhen in Galatasaray’s red and yellow kit during a previous match.
Osimhen, 27, completed a permanent €75 million transfer to Galatasaray from Napoli in July 2025 after spending the 2024/25 season on loan with the Turkish club. He officially began training with the team on August 1, 2025, at the Kemerburgaz Metin Oktay facilities under head coach Okan Buruk.
During his loan spell, Osimhen scored 37 goals and provided eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions, helping Galatasaray win the Super Lig and Turkish Cup. The club made the move permanent ahead of the 2025/26 season.
