Former Fenerbahçe and Turkish international striker Serdar Dursun has questioned whether Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has the technical profile required to play for Spanish club FC Barcelona.
Dursun made the remarks during an appearance on the Cup Diary programme broadcast on Spor Smart. His comments were subsequently reported by Fanatik.
Speaking on the programme, Dursun acknowledged Osimhen’s overall talent and quality as a striker. However, he stated he does not believe the Nigerian international could play for Barcelona at present. Dursun said Osimhen lacks what he described as “clean technique,” adding that he is uncertain whether the forward possesses the refined technical skills that Barcelona’s style of play demands.
Osimhen, 27, is a key player for Nigeria’s Super Eagles and has been linked with several top European clubs following strong performances in recent seasons. Dursun’s comments add to ongoing discussions about potential transfer targets for Barcelona as the club plans for future seasons.
Dursun, who earned caps for Turkey and played for Fenerbahçe, was offering analysis on player suitability for top La Liga sides.
