Trabzonspor striker Paul Onuachu finished the 2025/2026 Turkish Süper Lig season as joint top scorer, sharing the Golden Boot with İstanbul Başakşehir forward Eldor Shomurodov after both players ended the campaign with 22 league goals.
The Nigerian international entered the final round of matches on Sunday, May 18, 2026, leading the scoring chart. Onuachu did not score in Trabzonspor’s 3-0 defeat to Gençlerbirliği, while Shomurodov scored his 22nd goal a day earlier against Gaziantep FK to draw level. Onuachu reached his total in 29 league appearances, compared with Shomurodov’s 34 matches. Fenerbahçe’s Anderson Talisca finished third with 19 goals, and Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen, last season’s winner, ended the season with 15.
With the award, Onuachu becomes the sixth Trabzonspor player in Süper Lig history to finish as the league’s top scorer. The 31-year-old joined Trabzonspor permanently from Southampton in July 2025 after netting 15 goals during a loan spell the previous season.
