Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is not entertaining any transfer discussions and remains fully committed to Galatasaray, according to a statement from his close associate Buchi Laba.

The comments were posted on X by the fan media account Peşindeyiz Galatasaray, which quoted Laba saying Osimhen does not want to hear anything about transfers and that all his concentration is on helping Galatasaray achieve great success this season.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray on a permanent deal on July 31, 2025, after a successful loan spell during the 2024/25 season where he helped the club win the Super Lig title. The Turkish champions paid 75 million euros to Napoli, a fee that broke the all-time transfer record for the Turkish Super Lig.

Under the terms announced by the club, Napoli will also receive 10 percent of any profit from a future sale, and Osimhen signed a four-year contract starting from the 2025/26 season.

He said recent meetings involving club officials were about institutional growth and not about player transfers. The clarification comes amid continued interest from European clubs, but according to Laba, no negotiations have taken place and Osimhen's priority is to build on his form in Istanbul.
