Galatasaray have reduced their asking price for striker Victor Osimhen to €65 million, according to a report by Turkish outlet Haberler, citing Sky Sports.
The move comes as Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal have renewed their interest in the Nigerian forward. The Turkish champions, where Osimhen spent last season on loan, are seeking to make his stay permanent while facing competition from the Saudi side.
Osimhen, 26, joined Galatasaray last summer on loan from Napoli after a permanent transfer away from Italy failed to materialize. He enjoyed a prolific 2024-25 campaign in Turkey, scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions.
The striker has a release clause of €75 million in his Napoli contract for clubs outside Italy, a figure Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has insisted on. Reports indicate Napoli previously rejected a €65 million plus bonuses offer from Al Hilal as they held out for the full clause.
The adjustment in Galatasaray's valuation is seen as an attempt to accelerate negotiations. According to reports in Italy, Al Hilal have tabled a new offer worth the full €75 million but structured in two equal instalments of €37.5 million, along with a lucrative multi-year contract that the player previously declined in June.
