Real Betis is preparing a €15 million move for Nigerian midfielder Christantus Uche ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Spanish club has identified the 22-year-old as a target as he prepares to return to Getafe CF following a loan spell at Crystal Palace in England. Reports in Spain via Fichajes, say Betis have opened initial talks and are willing to meet Getafe's valuation to bring Uche back to La Liga.
Uche is currently contracted to Getafe after joining from third-tier side AD Ceuta. He broke into the first team in the 2024-25 season, playing 33 La Liga matches and recording four goals and six assists. He scored on his debut against Athletic Bilbao and became a regular under coach José Bordalás, operating across midfield and attack.
His form earned him a first senior call-up to Nigeria in May 2025. He moved to Crystal Palace on loan for the 2025-26 season but struggled for minutes under Oliver Glasner. All 14 of his Premier League appearances came from the bench, totalling 158 minutes without a goal or assist, and Palace have decided against activating the permanent clause in his deal.
