Juventus Edge Atalanta 1-0 to Boost Champions League Hopes

Jérémie Boga Scored against Atalanta match

Juventus secured a vital 1-0 away win over Atalanta on Saturday, boosting their Champions League qualification hopes. The result moved Juve to fourth place with 60 points, while Atalanta remained seventh on 53 points. The Serie A Matchday 32 clash was decided by a single second-half strike.

The first goal was scored in the 48th minute when Jérémie Boga pounced on a loose ball inside the box. A defensive mix-up between Atalanta’s Berat Djimsiti and goalkeeper Marco Carneseccchi left the ball free, and Boga finished confidently with a right-footed shot from the center of the area. Despite Atalanta generating higher expected goals (1.67 vs. 0.63), they could not find an equalizer.

Juventus’ upcoming match would be against Bologna on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Allianz Stadium in Turin. Kick-off is set for 20:45 CEST as part of Serie A Matchday 33.
