Former Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has described Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise as “müthiş” (amazing) following the Frenchman’s standout performance in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg.
Watching live at the Santiago Bernabéu for the first time, Kroos saw the 22-year-old help Bayern secure a 2-1 victory on April 7-8, 2026. “The performance he showed was fantastic, and he does this consistently,” Kroos said, warning that Real Madrid must find a way to stop Olise in the return leg. “In the first match, he established great superiority on the wings and it was almost impossible to stop him.”
The two sides now prepare for the second leg at the Allianz Arena on April 15, 2026, with Bayern holding a narrow advantage.
