Mounir Nasraoui, father of Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, has drawn attention after reportedly commenting on his son's personal life during an interview with the European press.
According to a post circulating online, Nasraoui said that if he influenced his son's relationship, he would advise Yamal to break up with his girlfriend, Inés García. Nasraoui reportedly cited concerns over age and maturity, saying García is too old for the 18-year-old winger and could take advantage of his naivety in relationships.
He also addressed his own family dynamic, stating that he and Yamal are not particularly close and that the player listens more to his mother, Sheila Ebana, and his stepfather. Nasraoui said he believes there should be boundaries and that he does not want to overstep his role in his son's life.
In the same reported exchange, Nasraoui said: “I wish them well anyway. I'm only concerned about his career, and I don't want him to mistake fake love for real love. Personally, I prefer Nicki Nicole over Inés.”
