David Raya has been named Arsenal’s Men’s Player of the Month for May, the club confirmed on June 9, 2026.

The award is the final fan-voted monthly honor of the 2025/26 season. The Spanish goalkeeper earned the recognition after a month in which he helped the club secure the Premier League title and reach the UEFA Champions League final in Budapest.

Voting opened to supporters on June 2, with Raya, Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyökeres listed as nominees.

According to Arsenal.com, Raya received 60.1% of the fan vote, finishing ahead of teammates Havertz and Saka. His performances in May included a decisive save to deny West Ham United’s Matheus Fernandes during a 1-0 win at London Stadium on May 24.

That victory was part of Arsenal’s title-clinching run. The 30-year-old also kept 19 clean sheets across the league campaign, earning his third consecutive Premier League Golden Glove award. In Europe, he featured in the Champions League final and stopped a penalty from Paris Saint-Germain’s Nuno Mendes in the shootout.

The award marks the second time Raya has won Arsenal’s monthly honor, having previously claimed it in September 2024.
