Israel secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Albania in an international friendly match played on June 3, 2026, at Air Albania Stadium in Tirana.

Israeli attacking midfielder Oscar Gloukh scored the first goal in the second half, handing the hosts their first defeat in this preparatory window as both teams fine-tune preparations ahead of upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures.

Oscar Gloukh, the Israeli player, scored the only goal in the 73rd minute with a left-footed shot from the left side of the box, assisted by Yarin Levi on a fast break.

The match remained goalless at halftime with limited chances, as Albania controlled early possession but struggled to break down Israel’s defense before the visitors capitalized on a counterattack in a defensively oriented second half.

Albania, currently ranked 64th in the FIFA world rankings with a solid recent qualifying record, entered the match seeking momentum but could not convert territorial advantage into goals. Israel, ranked 77th, improved their goal difference in friendlies and demonstrated resilience in away conditions.

Albania will host Luxembourg in another international friendly on June 6, 2026.
