Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen finished the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League league phase and knockouts as the most decorated individual, collecting four Player of the Match awards for Galatasaray. The 27-year-old now leads the competition outright ahead of next month’s final in Budapest.

Osimhen earned his first MOTM on September 30, 2025, converting a 16th-minute penalty in a 1-0 home win over Liverpool. He added a second on October 22 after scoring twice in a 3-1 victory against Bodø/Glimt, and a third on November 5 following a hat-trick in a 3-0 away win at Ajax. His record-setting fourth came on February 26, 2026, when his extra-time strike secured a 3-2 win at Juventus and passage to the last 16.

Six players are tied on three MOTM awards each. Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid) reached three with a four-goal display in a 4-3 win at Olympiacos on November 26. Charles De Ketelaere (Atalanta), Anthony Gordon (Newcastle United), and Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) also hold three, alongside Norwegian winger Jens Petter Hauge (Bodø/Glimt) and Portuguese winger Francisco Trincão (Sporting CP).

Osimhen’s four awards give him the outright lead heading into the final stretch. With PSG and Arsenal confirmed for the May 30 final in Budapest.
