Victor Osimhen says he is experiencing the best form of his career at Galatasaray and believes the club's recent trophies were earned on merit.

The Nigerian striker made the comments in an interview broadcast on Galatasaray's official YouTube channel, following the team's Super Lig triumph in Istanbul. Galatasaray defeated Antalyaspor 4-2 on May 9 to seal a fourth consecutive league title and a record 26th championship, with Osimhen scoring twice in the second half to secure the result.

"I'm feeling very good. Everything is going great right now. I'm living one of the most beautiful periods of my career and the time when I feel the best," Osimhen said. "We earned the trophies fully deservedly. I'm enjoying it a lot and I'm very happy."

Osimhen also praised head coach Okan Buruk, crediting him for the team's consistency. He described Buruk as a manager with high-quality attributes who "is not egotistical, he believes in his players, and that's a rare thing among coaches these days." Osimhen noted Buruk's willingness to delegate responsibility to experienced players and said he was "very, very pleased to have worked with him."

He added that Buruk and Fatih Terim are the best coaches in Turkish football history. Buruk, a former Galatasaray midfielder, has overseen the club's domestic dominance, winning three consecutive Super Lig titles from 2022 to 2025 and extending the run to four straight championships. Osimhen previously identified Buruk as one of the most influential coaches of his career, alongside Luciano Spalletti at Napoli.
