Everton 3-3 Man City Doku and Barry Score Twice

Everton and Manchester City drew 3-3 in a Premier League match on Monday 4 May 2026 at Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool. 

Belgian winger Jérémy Doku put City ahead in the 43rd minute. French forward Thierno Barry equalised for Everton in the 68th minute, before Irish defender Jake O'Brien gave the hosts the lead in the 73rd minute from a set-piece that was not attributed. Barry made it 3-1 in the 81st minute. 

Norwegian striker Erling Haaland pulled a goal back for City in the 83rd minute, and Doku scored his second in the seventh minute of added time at 90+7 to level the match. City led at halftime, Everton scored three times between the 68th and 81st minutes, and City scored twice in the final stages at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday night.

Manchester City stay second on 71 points after 34 matches, with 69 goals scored and 32 conceded for a plus-37 goal difference, six points behind Arsenal with one match in hand. Everton move to twelfth on 48 points from 35 games, with 44 goals for and 44 against for a difference, ending a sequence of two defeats and remaining in contention for a top-ten finish in mid-table.

Manchester City would host Brentford on Saturday 9 May 2026 at Etihad Stadium, while Everton visit Crystal Palace on Sunday 10 May 2026 at Selhurst Park for their next league fixtures.
