Nigerian football sensation Victor Osimhen opened up about his transition to Galatasaray and the profound sense of belonging he has discovered in Istanbul.

Reflecting on a career that has spanned Germany, Belgium, France, and a historic title-winning stint in Italy with Napoli, Osimhen reported that the football culture in Turkey is on "another level". He described the club not merely as a professional stepping stone, but as a family characterized by unity and maximum respect, expressing gratitude for the passionate support of the Galatasaray fans, whom he claims are "truly the best in the world".

The former African Footballer of the Year also shared intimate details about his personal philosophy, shaped by a challenging childhood in "the trenches". Despite his status as a global superstar, Osimhen emphasized his commitment to staying grounded and helping others reach their potential. He explained that his "free-minded" approach to life is a legacy from his late parents, driving him to support those working legitimate jobs to better their lives.

Osimhen provided a glimpse into the Galatasaray locker room, identifying teammates like Lucas Torreira and Davinson Sánchez as the squad's jokers. He also credited former coaches for his mental toughness, recalling Gennaro Gattuso's intense mandate to "bleed if you have to" to get results.
