Nottingham Forest winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has confirmed that his surgery was successful but his season has ended early. The 24-year-old English forward announced the news on Twitter.
Hudson-Odoi suffered a season-ending injury during training last week and underwent surgery to repair the damage. The exact nature of the injury has not been disclosed by the club, but the winger confirmed the procedure was successful.
The 24-year-old made 28 Premier League appearances this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists. His last goal came against Ipswich Town in March 2026. He also featured in two FA Cup matches. The injury cuts short what had been a productive campaign for the former Chelsea academy product, who joined Nottingham Forest permanently in 2023 after a loan spell.
"Surgery was successful but definitely not the way I wanted to end the season," Hudson-Odoi wrote. "With God's timing and plan, hopefully I'll be back stronger and better than before. Thank you for your continued support always and the messages. I appreciate all the love. Let's get the recovery started so I can get back out there doing what I love. No Pain No Gain."
