Italian Serie A side Napoli are preparing to move for Galatasaray defender Wilfried Singo at the end of the 2025–26 season, according to a report from Italian newspaper Il Mattino.
The news was first relayed on April 7, 2026, by popular Galatasaray fan account PesindeyizApp on X. The post makes clear that no deal has been finalized instead, Napoli are closely monitoring the Ivorian and plan to pursue him seriously once the summer transfer window opens.
Singo joined Galatasaray from AS Monaco in August 2025 for around €30.8 million and has a reported €60 million release clause in his contract, which runs until 2030.
Singo, 25, endured a difficult start to life in Istanbul. Early-season hamstring issues and adaptation problems limited his appearances, and Galatasaray even considered selling him in the January 2026 window. Yet, the right-sided centre-back has since regained form. On April 4, he played the full 90 minutes in Galatasaray’s 2–1 away loss to Trabzonspor, scoring an equalizer, his first away league goal for the club.
He is reportedly expected to feature again on April 8 when Galatasaray visit Göztepe in the Turkish Süper Lig as they look to bounce back.
