Levante Beat Sevilla 2-0 as Romero Scores Brace

Levante defeated Sevilla 2-0 in a La Liga match on Thursday at Ciutat de València in Valencia.

Iván Romero, the Spanish striker, scored the opener in the 38th minute and added the second in the 90+3rd minute. Levante controlled large portions of the match with solid defensive organization throughout, disheartening Sevilla's attacks and capitalizing on late opportunities for a straightforward home win.

Levante sits 19th in the La Liga table with 29 points from 31 matches and a goal difference of -14. Sevilla occupies 17th place with 34 points and a goal difference of -12. On Monday, April 27, Levante would move to face RCD Espanyol.
