Harry Kane continued his sensational scoring run by netting his 49th goal of the 2025–26 season in Bayern Munich’s 2–0 Champions League quarter-final first-leg win over Real Madrid on April 7.
The English striker struck just 30 seconds into the second half, finishing low from the edge of the box after Michael Olise cut in from the right and laid the ball off. The goal doubled Bayern’s lead and put the Bundesliga giants in firm control ahead of the return leg.
Kane, 32, joined Bayern on August 12, 2023, from Tottenham Hotspur for a Bundesliga-record €100 million plus add-ons. Since arriving, the England captain has consistently delivered elite numbers, reinforcing his status as one of the best centre-forwards of his generation. His four-year contract keeps him in Munich until 2027.
With 49 goals across all competitions this season, Kane shows no sign of slowing down. His clinical finish against Real Madrid not only emphasized his value to Bayern but also pushed him closer to another 50-goal campaign.
