Galatasaray Eye Return for Former Youth Product Ozan Kabak

Ozan Kabak Considered to signed in Galatasaray

Galatasaray are considering a move for Turkish international defender Ozan Kabak, according to journalist Ali Naci Küçük.

The 26-year-old centre-back, who came through the club’s youth system in 2011 and made his professional debut in 2018, is currently with Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim.

Kabak’s contract with Hoffenheim runs until June 2026, though extension talks are ongoing. Since leaving Galatasaray, he has had spells with VfB Stuttgart, Schalke 04, Liverpool (loan), and Norwich City (loan). He made 13 appearances for Liverpool during a temporary move in 2021.

Küçük recently praised Turkey manager Vincenzo Montella for including Kabak in a crucial final match, calling the decision “very courageous.”

A return to Istanbul would bring Kabak back to familiar ground, though any deal would depend on Hoffenheim’s willingness to negotiate before his contract expires.
