Galatasaray defeated Fenerbahce 3-0 in the Turkish Super Lig derby on Sunday at RAMS Park in Istanbul.
Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian forward, scored in the 40th minute with an assist from Mario Lemina. Turkish winger Barış Alper Yılmaz converted a penalty in the 67th minute. Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Torreira added the third goal in the 83rd minute. Galatasaray controlled proceedings with a dominant first half and maintained defensive solidity after the break to secure a comfortable win despite Fenerbahce’s attempts to respond.
Galatasaray sit top of the Süper Lig with 74 points from 31 matches and a goal difference of +49. Fenerbahce remain second on 67 points.
