Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo has reportedly pledged his international future to the Nigeria national team on 14 March 2026. The 28-year-old has reached out to Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle, expressing his strong desire to represent Nigeria ahead of the upcoming international windows and future competitions.
According to the Super Eagles Supporters Club, the English-based centre-back, who came through England’s youth system, has been on Nigeria’s radar since 2018. Adarabioyo is eligible to switch his allegiance to the West African nation through his heritage and is now keen on making the move to the senior team.
The decision marks a significant boost for the Nigerian defence as they look to bolster their squad with experienced European-based players. With his physical presence and Premier League experience, Adarabioyo is expected to compete for a starting spot if his application is approved by FIFA and the Nigeria Football Federation.
