Brighton and Hove Albion and Super Falcons shot-stopper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been named the winner of the British Gas Save of the Month award for November.
The 24-year-old secured the honor following a public vote, prevailing over nominees Sabrina D’Angelo, Faye Kirby, and Ayaka Yamashita.
Nnadozie earned the accolade for a remarkable save during Brighton’s Women’s Super League fixture against Liverpool.
In the 40th minute, she produced an acrobatic reflex stop to tip Fuka Nagano’s powerful long-range strike onto the crossbar, preserving the scoreline in a match that would finish 1–1.
The save proved pivotal, keeping Brighton in contention during a difficult away fixture before the team secured a late equalizer. The award highlights Nnadozie’s continued consistency as one of the league’s premier goalkeepers.
