Galatasaray midfielder Yunus Akgün has opened up about the experience of playing alongside the club’s formidable attacking force, singling out Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen and Argentine striker Mauro Icardi as his standout teammates on the pitch.
Speaking during a recent interview, the Turkish international described sharing the pitch with the two prolific goalscorers as a privilege. “I feel lucky to be playing alongside Icardi and Osimhen. They hold a very important place in Galatasaray's history,” Akgün stated. He emphasized that their presence in the squad not only elevates the team’s performance but also adds immense value to the club’s legacy.
