Following the Premier League clash between Fulham and Burnley, defender Calvin Bassey shared his perspective on the hard-fought victory at Craven Cottage.
The match concluded in a 3-1 victory for Fulham after a dramatic second half. Burnley initially took the lead through Zian Flemming in the 60th minute, but Fulham responded with goals from Josh King and Harry Wilson. A late red card for Burnley's Josh Laurent preceded a final penalty.
Speaking to the Nigerian journalist Kelechiafc, the Fulham defender expressed that he thinks it wasn't easy to defeat Burnley. “I think it was a better second half, in first half will have a lot of problems but of course the red card by Laurent makes a lot of difference and also I'm happy that will were able to secure three goals, Burnley are not easy to play with,” he stated.
