Tunisian sports commentator Islam Bouafif has praised Galatasaray and Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen for his impressive performance against Tunisia at the Africa Cup of Nations, as the striker celebrated his 27th birthday. Osimhen was a constant threat throughout the encounter, using his strength, pace, and intelligence to trouble the Tunisian defense and play a decisive role in Nigeria’s attacking dominance during the clash in Morocco.

Islam Bouafif wrote a powerful message describing the Nigerian star’s performance against Tunisia at the Fez Stadium in Morocco, saying: “As someone whose team just faced Osimhen, I have to say playing against him is genuinely scary and frustrating. Our centre-backs aren’t usually this bad, and we rarely struggle this much when defending crosses. But this guy is an absolute monster.”

Speaking further on Osimhen’s movement and quality standards in football, Bouafif added: “Right now, I genuinely think he has the best box presence in world football. His movement is extremely intelligent, he knows exactly when and where to attack the space, and physically he is on another level. His strength makes it almost impossible to duel with him, his jumping ability is insane, and he always seems to be at the end of every single cross.”

Bouafif also shared his thoughts on Osimhen’s situation at Turkish club Galatasaray, suggesting that while the club benefits greatly from his talent, the striker has the quality and prime years to compete consistently at the very top level of European football.
