Werder Bremen defender Abdou Karim Coulibaly was left stranded in Bremen, Germany this week after thieves removed all four wheels from his car overnight.

The 19-year-old discovered the theft on Thursday morning when he went to leave for team training and found his vehicle resting on bricks.

Coulibaly shared images of the incident on his social media accounts. The photos showed a matte black coupe parked on a residential street with its wheels missing and the brake discs exposed, propped up on construction blocks.

Coulibaly, a centre-back who came through Werder Bremen's academy, has broken into the first team this season. He made his Bundesliga debut at 18 and is considered one of the club's promising young defenders.
