Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo and his longtime partner Georgina Rodriguez have married in Portugal.

The couple wed on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in a civil ceremony in Cascais, a coastal town near Lisbon. According to a statement from Ronaldo's representatives, the ceremony was private and intimate and was attended only by their five children: Cristiano Jr., Eva, Mateo, Alana Martina and Bella Esmeralda.

The announcement was followed by a joint photo posted by the pair showing their hands together with simple gold wedding bands. Ronaldo, 41, and Rodriguez, 32, have been together since 2016 after meeting while Rodriguez was working in retail in Madrid.

The wedding comes exactly one year after the couple announced their engagement in August 2025. Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d'Or winner who has played for Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and currently Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, is one of the most decorated players in football history.

Rodriguez, an Argentine-Spanish model, has built her own public profile including the Netflix series "I Am Georgina." The pair share two daughters together, Alana Martina and Bella Esmeralda, and are raising Ronaldo's three other children as a family.
