FC Barcelona are expecting to receive an opening official bid from Paris Saint-Germain for forward Ferran Torres, according to a report by transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Romano reported that Barcelona have been informed by both the player's camp and the French champions that a verbal agreement on personal terms has been reached. The update suggests PSG are preparing to formalize their interest with a first written offer in the coming hours.
Torres, 26, is currently under contract at Barcelona until 2027 and remains a regular for both club and the Spanish national team.
The development comes as PSG look to reshape their attacking options following the departure of Goncalo Ramos to AC Milan. The Ligue 1 club's manager, Luis Enrique, previously worked with Torres with the Spanish national team and is said to be driving the push for the versatile attacker, who can operate as a central striker and on both wings.
