Renato Sam-Na Nhaga, Galatasaray’s 19-year-old midfielder, addressed fan posts calling him the club’s “little brother” in comments shared Sunday on Twitter.
Forza Cimbom posted Nhaga’s remarks, translated from Turkish, after asking what the player thought about the nickname circulating online. Nhaga said he has seen the posts and finds them “very funny.” He added that he is “very happy for their support” and that the backing is “a huge motivation for my progress.”
Following Galatasaray’s 3-0 home win over RAMS Başakşehir FK in the 26th week of the Super League, Nhaga spoke to the press about the atmosphere at the club. He said he did not expect the “real family feeling” inside Galatasaray and noted that he has felt “like at home” since arriving. Addressing fan support directly, Nhaga stated, “I feel the support. Thanks to them, I am much more motivated”.
