Mikel Arteta is now the only active head coach in the Premier League with a league championship on his record, following the end-of-season departures of Pep Guardiola at Manchester City and Arne Slot at Liverpool.
The Arsenal manager enters the summer as the single title holder among the division's 20 coaches, a position created by two managerial exits within the same week.
Arteta, 44, secured his first Premier League crown in May when Arsenal were confirmed as champions of the 2025-26 season. The title, the club's first since 2004, was decided on May 18 after Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw at Bournemouth, leaving Arsenal uncatchable at the top of the table.
It ended a 22-year wait and followed three consecutive finishes as runners-up. The league subsequently named Arteta Manager of the Season for guiding Arsenal to the championship.
