Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has declared himself “ready to die on the pitch” ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League quarter-final second leg against Paris Saint-Germain at Anfield.
The 25-year-old Hungarian issued the passionate rallying cry as Liverpool look to overturn a 2–0 deficit from the first leg in Paris.
Szoboszlai, who stands 1.87 meters tall and captains the Hungary national team, is known for his long-range shots, vision, relentless work rate, and leadership from central midfield. Having joined Liverpool from RB Leipzig, where he won two DFB-Pokal titles.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the former RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg playmaker said: “I am ready to die on the pitch tomorrow. I can speak for all the players. We want it so bad and we will work for it. Anything can happen at Anfield.”
