Galatasaray has secured Victor Osimhen’s image rights as part of his permanent transfer from Napoli, allowing the club to offset part of his salary through commercial deals.
Turkish sports journalist Haluk Yürekli reports the club can now feature Osimhen in up to four ads per year, cutting his net annual cost from €21 million to about €13 million.
Osimhen’s package includes a €15 million net base salary, a €1 million loyalty bonus, and €5 million for image rights. By controlling branding and sponsorship opportunities, Galatasaray lowers its financial load while leveraging the striker’s marketability.
The move reflects the club’s broader effort to compete in the Süper Lig and Champions League while managing high player wages. It may become a model for sustainably funding top talent.
