Millwall attacker Femi Azeez has committed his international career to Nigeria, opting to represent the Super Eagles ahead of England and Spain.

The 24-year-old, born in England to a Nigerian father and Spanish mother, was eligible for all three nations. He decided following discussions with the Nigeria Football Federation, according to Footmercato.

Azeez joined Millwall in 2024 after coming through the ranks at Reading. He is currently valued at approximately €5 million.

His performances in the Championship this season have attracted interest from Nigerian selectors. Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle is reportedly planning to scout Europe for eligible talents ahead of next month’s 2026 Unity Cup.

Azeez is now expected to receive his first call-up for the friendly invitational tournament, where he could add attacking depth to the Nigerian squad.
