Nigeria’s final friendly of the March window ended in a frantic 2-2 stalemate against Jordan at Mardan Stadium in Antalya, Turkey, on March 31.
Jordan struck first through Mousa Al-Tamari in the 17th minute, but the Super Eagles responded before halftime.
Moses Simon leveled in the 26th minute, and Emmanuel Fernandez put Nigeria ahead in the 41st, sending the team into the break with a 2-1 lead.
In the second half, Nigeria struggles to maintain control. Coach Eric Chelle rotated his squad, with captain Wilfred Ndidi remaining an unused substitute.
A double change in the 81st minute saw Samuel Chukwueze replace Simon, but the disruption aided Jordan’s push. Mohammad Ratib Al-Daoud capitalized in the 77th minute to draw the match level at 2-2.
Deep into six minutes of stoppage time, Alex Iwobi came off the bench to score a dramatic equalizer, only to be shown a straight red card moments later.
