Raphinha Stars as Barcelona Secure 5–2 Victory Over Sevilla

Barcelona defeated Sevilla 5-2 in a dominant display of attacking football at Camp Nou on Sunday 15 March, solidifying their position at the top of the La Liga table with a total of 70 points.


Raphinha opened the scoring with two penalties in the 9th and 21st minutes after fouls inside the box. Spanish midfielder Dani Olmo added Barcelona’s third goal in the 38th minute with a composed finish, while Sevilla pulled one back just before halftime.


Barcelona maintained control after the break as Raphinha completed his hat-trick in the 51st minute. Portuguese defender João Cancelo later added the fifth goal in the 60th minute. Sevilla scored again late in the match.


Barcelona's next match is against Newcastle United in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 on Wednesday, 18 March 2026.
