Martins Urges Osimhen to Snub Arsenal, Chelsea for Barcelona

Former Nigeria international Obafemi Martins has advised fellow striker Victor Osimhen against a move to the Premier League, urging him to consider Barcelona instead.

Martins made the remarks on the Obi One Podcast hosted by former Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel. The episode was released this weekend as the summer transfer window enters its final day.

Speaking when asked about Osimhen's future, Martins said Osimhen would face difficulties at Arsenal and should not join Chelsea. He stated: "He will struggle at Arsenal. You don't need Osimhen at Chelsea. Let him go to Barcelona."

Osimhen, 27, is currently contracted to Turkish champions Galatasaray, where he has continued to attract interest after a strong scoring spell. Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona have all been linked with the Nigerian forward in recent months.

Martins argued that Barcelona would offer a better platform for goals, while Chelsea's current form makes it an unsuitable destination. He added that Arsenal is the only Premier League club that could fit Osimhen, but he would still struggle to maintain his momentum there.
