Getafe president Ángel Torres says the club is open to selling midfielder Christantus Uche this summer, once his loan at Crystal Palace officially ends.
Torres said Uche is still tied to Palace through June 30, which limits what Getafe can do in the meantime. He added that Uche is willing to return to Madrid, that Getafe coach José Bordalás wants him back, and that the club will approve a transfer if a suitable bid arrives.
Uche, 23, moved to Crystal Palace in September 2025 from Getafe in a loan deal that included a conditional purchase clause, reported at €20 million. The move came after Getafe faced registration problems in La Liga. The clause was linked to Premier League appearances and was not triggered. In 2025-26, Uche played 14 league games for Palace without a goal or assist, and scored twice in four UEFA Conference League matches for the eventual winners. Palace, who finished 15th in the Premier League, will not make the move permanent.
The Nigeria international joined Getafe from AD Ceuta in 2024 for a low seven-figure fee in euros, and became a regular starter in his first La Liga season. He remains under contract with Getafe until 2028.
Torres said the club would be glad to reintegrate him, but Getafe need sales to fund incoming business this window.
