Turkish sports commentator Adnan Aybaba has significantly shifted his stance on Galatasaray's transfer capabilities, revealing his belief that the club can now sign virtually any world-class player. Aybaba's change of heart stems from the Turkish giant's successful acquisition of star Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, a transfer he once thought was impossible.
During a recent interview on the Telegol TV Program, Aybaba analyzed his initial skepticism about the Osimhen deal. Ayababa recounted his disbelief: "Can you imagine Galatasaray's squad right now? I said, 'Galatasaray can't buy Osimhen's shoes,' but they bought Osimhen." The success of this massive signing completely changed the commentator's mind, establishing the new standard for the club's transfer ambitions.
Due to the triumph of the Osimhen deal, Aybaba now considers the Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah a feasible prospect for the team. He commented on Salah's potential arrival, saying, "I won't say anything about Mohamed Salah now. Salah could join as well," he remarked, suggesting he is fully considering the prospect of securing another major signing. Aybaba then escalated his speculation by bringing up a colossal name: Lionel Messi. He declared that securing the Argentine legend, stating, “Messi, in particular, would be a big deal,” would reinforce his view that there are no longer any boundaries to Galatasaray's transfer aspirations.
