Wolverhampton Wanderers have turned down a transfer proposal from Italian club Fiorentina for striker Tolu Arokodare, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.

The offer was submitted in the last five hours and was rejected by Wolves, who remain undecided on the Nigerian forward’s immediate future at Molineux. Turkish side Trabzonspor also approached Wolves with a proposal for Arokodare, but the player is not keen on a move to the Süper Lig club at this stage.

Arokodare, 24, joined Wolverhampton from Belgian club KRC Genk in September 2025 for a reported €26 million fee. He arrived after finishing as the top scorer in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League last season.

Wolves signed him as they looked to strengthen their attack following the departure of Matheus Cunha and amid uncertainty over Jorgen Strand Larsen’s future. The striker is under contract with Wolves until 2027.
