France advanced to the semifinals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a 2-0 quarter-final victory over Morocco on July 9 at Boston Stadium in Foxborough.
Kylian Mbappé of France scored in the 60th minute, recovering from an earlier missed penalty to break the deadlock with a clinical finish. Ousmane Dembélé of France added the second goal in the 66th minute, assisted by Mbappé, with a low strike from outside the box into the bottom corner.
