Juventus have identified Nigeria international Maduka Okoye as a priority goalkeeper target for the summer transfer window, according to reports emerging from Italy on June 23, 2026.

The Turin club’s move comes after complications in their pursuit of Aston Villa and Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, whose wage demands and asking price have stalled negotiations. Juventus are reviewing options for the goalkeeper position ahead of the 2026/27 season and have been linked with several Premier League players, including Martinez, as they seek a long-term solution between the posts.

Okoye, 26, currently plays for Udinese in Serie A. He made 30 league appearances in the 2024/25 campaign, keeping 10 clean sheets and helping the club finish 10th. The Nigerian has two years remaining on his contract.

Udinese have a reputation as a selling club and are said to be open to negotiations if a suitable offer arrives. In anticipation of a potential exit, Udinese have already identified Bologna goalkeeper Federico Ravaglia as the preferred replacement, according to Sleeper Football News.

Juventus’ interest follows Okoye’s strong performances last season, including standout saves against the Bianconeri in Serie A. The goalkeeper missed the opening six matches of the season due to a suspension but returned to establish himself as a key figure for Udinese.
