Premier League side Fulham have decided not to exercise their option to sign winger Samuel Chukwueze on a permanent basis from AC Milan, according to Italian transfer outlet Tuttomercato.
The 27-year-old Nigerian, who arrived at Craven Cottage on a season-long loan in September 2025, will return to the Serie A club this summer when his temporary spell ends.
Chukwueze made a solid impact during his time with the Cottagers, contributing three goals and four assists in the Premier League campaign. The forward, who has featured in 23 matches, provided valuable width and creativity on the right flank for manager Marco Silva’s team, helping them navigate the competitive English top flight.
The loan deal included an option for Fulham to buy the player outright at the end of the 2025/26 season. With the campaign drawing to a close, the London club have chosen not to activate the clause, paving the way for Chukwueze’s return to AC Milan, where he remains under contract.
