In the second leg of the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round on Tuesday at Estadi Comunal d’Andorra la Vella in Andorra la Vella, Gibraltar’s Lincoln Red Imps held firm to secure progression.

Andorran defender Dacu scored for hosts Inter d’Escaldes, while Spanish winger Álex Mula netted for the visitors. The result maintained Lincoln Red Imps’ aggregate advantage from the first leg.

Álex Mula (Spain) scored in the 62nd minute for Lincoln Red Imps. Dacu (Andorra) replied for Inter d’Escaldes in the 80th minute. Lincoln Red Imps took control after an even opening, leading on the night and aggregate before Inter d’Escaldes mounted a late push that fell short in a competitive second half.

Lincoln Red Imps lead the tie 4-2 on aggregate and boast a positive goal difference in early qualifying. The Gibraltar champions, with three goals scored and one conceded across the two legs, remain on course for further European progression.

Lincoln Red Imps face their second qualifying round opponent on July 22 and 29.
