Arsenal secured a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace in the final Premier League match of the 2025/26 season at Selhurst Park on Sunday.

The champions, who had already clinched the title days earlier, ended their campaign with three points. The first-half strikes from Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus and English winger Noni Madueke, before French striker Jean-Philippe Mateta pulled one back late for the hosts.

Gabriel Jesus opened the scoring in the 41st minute, assisted by Gabriel Martinelli, with a clinical low strike past Dean Henderson. Noni Madueke doubled the lead in the 47th minute, assisted by Kai Havertz, pouncing on a loose ball in the area for a low finish.

Arsenal dominated the first half and maintained control early in the second, while Crystal Palace mounted a late push resulting in Mateta’s 88th-minute goal, but could not find an equalizer.

Arsenal finished the season as Premier League champions with 85 points from 26 wins, 7 draws, and 5 losses, and a goal difference of +44. Crystal Palace ended in mid-table, their performance reflecting a solid but ultimately unsuccessful effort against the title winners at home.

Arsenal’s next match is against Paris Saint-Germain on May 30.
