Arsenal have identified Aston Villa forward Morgan Rogers as a priority target for the summer window, with manager Mikel Arteta personally leading the club's pursuit.
Reports in England say the Gunners view the 23-year-old England international as a statement addition for their attack ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Rogers has become a central figure for club and country over the past 12 months. He finished last season with 30 goal contributions in 54 appearances for Villa in all competitions.
His form earned a run of three consecutive starts for England, including his first senior international goal against Wales and an assist in the 5-0 win over Serbia. Former midfielder Roy Keane described him as a "nightmare" for defenders, citing his strength, awareness and ability to receive the ball on the half-turn.
Aston Villa are resisting early pressure to sell. Rogers is under contract until 2030 and Villa have placed a valuation in excess of £80 million, with some estimates reaching £80-100 million.
