Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has revealed plans to return to school and earn a university degree once he retires from professional football.

The Nigerian international said education remains one of his personal goals, despite the current demands of his career at the top level of European and international football. The comments highlight the forward’s intention to pursue academic achievement beyond his sporting accomplishments.

Osimhen, who plays for the Nigeria national team and has featured for clubs including Napoli and Galatasaray in recent seasons, has often spoken about his background in Lagos and the importance of education. He grew up in Olusosun, Oregun, and attended primary school in the community before moving abroad to pursue football.

Teachers from his early years have been credited with supporting his decision to develop as a player. While Osimhen has not specified where or when he intends to enroll, he indicated that completing a degree is a long-term objective he plans to act on after leaving the game.
