Former Besiktas midfielder Sinan Engin has urged Galatasaray to handle Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen with extra care, describing the Super Eagles forward as a precious gem for the Turkish champions.

Engin made the remarks while speaking on the Asist Analiz YouTube channel via Haber Sari Kirmizi. He warned that the way Galatasaray manages Osimhen will have a direct effect on his performances this season.

According to him, Galatasaray without Osimhen is limited in attack and struggles to function at its best level. He illustrated his point with an analogy, saying a Galatasaray side without Osimhen is like a vehicle running on gas and comparing it to installing a gas conversion kit on a brand-new car to save fuel costs.

Engin said the comparison shows why the club should not take risks with its most decisive player. He argued that if Osimhen is not properly protected and supported, his output will decline. Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray initially on loan after his time at Napoli, has become central to the club's domestic title push and European campaign, scoring decisive goals and leading the attack.
